VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) Environment: A VDI environment refers to a virtualized computing infrastructure that provides users with access to virtual desktops from a centralized server. In a VDI environment, the user’s operating system, applications, and data are hosted on a server and delivered to the user’s device over a network. This allows users to access their virtual desktops from any device, including laptops, smartphones, and tablets, and from any location, as long as they have an internet connection. A VDI environment typically includes VDI software, VDI hosts, and VDI user experience, which work together to provide a seamless and secure virtual desktop experience to users. The VDI environment can be deployed in a variety of ways, such as on-premises, in the cloud, or as a hybrid solution, and can be managed and monitored using VDI access and VDI deployment tools. With VDI, organizations can improve user productivity and security, and reduce the risk of unwanted destruction and unplanned disruptions.
