Recovery Point Objective: The Recovery Point Objective (RPO) is a measure of how much data loss an organization is willing to accept during a disaster, crisis, or other event. The RPO represents the maximum amount of time that can pass between two consecutive backups, and is used to determine the appropriate frequency and type of backup operations needed to ensure the organization’s data can be recovered in the event of a disruption.
